Yesterday was the 29th day of my challenge, but I did not get to produce any art. Instead, I went to see an artist at work! My partner and I went to a Melissa Etheridge concert and just danced to some good music and good vibes. All in all, I felt very fulfilled as an artist watching someone else perfect their craft.
This woman seriously loves what she does!
. . . and she draws so much energy from the crowd!
I'm not exactly a "typical" Melissa fan. I don't know the words to any of her songs (except "California" because it speaks to my own love affair with the state) and I'm not a rocker. But we went because my partner is a typical fan. What I got was the experience of watching someone produce art from the heart. And that was worth it.
